Notes From The Directors
Ivette S. Pic
Ivette Skonieczny
Principal

Principal Ivette Skonieczny (Mrs. Sko) is a certified educator and has worked in the education field for over seven years.
Prior to being principal at GEE Preparatory Learning Center, she worked as a special education teacher for GEE. In 2014, she earned her Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI.
In 2020, she earned her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Concordia University in Ann Arbor. In that same year she obtained her Educational Leadership Certification in Administration and Supervision from the Michigan Department of Education.

Amal Issa
Site Coordinator

GEE Prep’s Site Coordinator, Amal Issa, is a certified teacher in ELA, ESL, and Arabic. She graduated with her BA from Eastern Michigan University. She has also earned a Masters degree in teaching foreign languages from the University of Michigan in 2018. Before becoming a Site Coordinator at GEE Prep, Amal taught at the University of Michigan and has had experience teaching middle school as well. This is Amal’s third year at GEE prep.
